"It is truly an honor to be chosen as spokesman for such a worthy cause. The drug problem today is the most serious problem facing our society, and it is particularly tragic when it affects our kids. You and I have talked for years about how we can best help our young people avoid the pitfalls of drug abuse. To be able to get this message to our kids through music is a unique approach. With music being such a powerful force in the lives of our children, it is more likely that they will listen to the warnings. The shows I am doing with Simple Dreams Foundation in our local schools creates an opportunity to literally change, and often save, the lives of young people. The only way we can change society is to 'be the change we wish to see."
